Since opening Black Mamba over 7 years ago, Nicolás and Paloma had the vision of creating a cozy space where their customers could enjoy great coffee accompanied by delicious food. Following a couple of years living in Melbourne, Australia, they returned with the idea of opening a shop featuring Melbourne’s coffee offerings—including the characteristic 6oz Flat White—alongside quality breakfast and brunch options prepared by them using high-quality ingredients.

They navigated through the social uprising and the pandemic, and continue to prioritize warm, personal service, supported by highly loyal customers who have followed them through the three locations they have occupied over time.

In early 2025, they took a major step, and with the help of Estudio Bravo, they enabled a brand new space from scratch that was in tune with what they had envisioned and dreamed of a few years prior. The reopening took place in February of this year, allowing them to continue serving their long-time customers while also welcoming new people who have come to know them.

Today, their offering incorporates new preparations—including egg dishes—and rotating lunch options, in addition to continuing to provide the excellently crafted coffees for which they have been known all these years. None of this would have been possible without the marvelous team they rely on, who, faithful to their philosophy, deliver exceptional service every day.
