Voting System for the Best Coffee Shops Worldwide
To ensure a fair and transparent selection of the best coffee shops globally, we have implemented a robust voting system that incorporates both public opinion and expert evaluations. The voting process is structured as follows:
Coffee enthusiasts from around the world are invited to cast their votes online. Each individual can vote for their favourite coffee shops based on their personal experiences. The public voting phase will be open for a specified period, during which participants can vote once per person.
A panel of esteemed specialty coffee experts and industry professionals will also evaluate the coffee shops. This panel will consist of renowned baristas, coffee roasters, and connoisseurs who will assess the nominees based on predefined criteria, such as coffee quality, barista expertise, and sustainability practices.
To balance public opinion with expert insights, the final scores will be calculated using a weighted system. Public votes will account for 30% of the final score, while the expert panel’s evaluations will contribute the remaining 70%.
Coffee shops can be nominated by the public or directly by our expert panel. Once the nomination period closes, a shortlist of nominees will be created based on the number of nominations and initial evaluations.
The coffee shops with the highest combined scores from public and expert votes will be honoured as the World’s Best Coffee Shops. The final results will be presented as a ranked list from 1 to 100.
The results will be announced in a special ceremony and featured in our comprehensive guide.
