Since 2018, Coffee Five has been serving specialty coffee on Rua da Quitanda, in the heart of downtown Rio.
It was founded by Emerson and Rafaela Nascimento, a couple with almost two decades of experience in the coffee world.
Emerson is a two-time Brazilian Coffee in Good Spirits champion and a Brazilian Barista champion, recognized for his technique, creativity, and dedication to raising specialty coffee standards in the country.
Rafaela has 18 years of experience in the field; she is a barista, a tea specialist, and a reference in hospitality. Together, they create an environment where skill and warmth go hand in hand.
Over time, Coffee Five has become a meeting point for those seeking quality and authenticity in every cup. Here, coffee is treated with respect, and every detail—from the bean to the service—is crafted with care.
