Lucca Cafés Especiais was founded in 2002, named after the maternal grandfather’s surname of Luiz Otávio, the owner of the coffee shop, and stemming from traditional Italian families in Curitiba.

Throughout these 20 years, Lucca has participated and been present in various quality and barista competitions, becoming the most awarded coffee shop in Brazil. Today, it operates as a café, roastery, and barista school.

Their connection with coffee extends from the farm to the cup.

At Lucca Cafés Especiais, they personally seek out the best specialty coffee micro-lots on Brazil’s most prestigious producing farms, all with process and quality certification. They feature over 40 specialty coffee micro-lots annually.
