Kafiex Gastro Café is a waterfront coffee destination in Vancouver, Washington, built around one of the most ambitious coffee programs in the region. Guests are welcomed by a 23-foot mural inspired by a Mexican coffee farm and a soundscape of international music that reflects their Latin roots. Their slow bar is a centerpiece of the space, featuring the largest siphon bar in the Pacific Northwest alongside approximately eight rotating pour-over offerings.
The coffee menu ranges from comforting, familiar profiles to exotic selections, including Cup of Excellence winners and competition lots used on the U.S. Barista Championship stage. Their espresso bar further highlights their heritage through house-made chocolate sauce, Mexican caramel, and seasonal drinks that blend local ingredients with global inspirations.
Alongside the coffee program, they offer an intentional in-house baking and brunch menu. The pastry case features a mix of Latin and European influences, such as alfajores, garibaldis, and house-made buttermilk biscuits. Breakfast and brunch are served daily, offering dishes like breakfast tacos and avocado toast. With every seat providing a view of the Columbia River, the café creates a welcoming environment for all guests, including four-legged family members.
