Pilot Coffee Roasters was founded in 2009 by Andy Wilkin and Jessie Holmes in Toronto’s
Leslieville neighbourhood. What began as Te Aro Roasters — named after Andy’s home
neighbourhood in Wellington, New Zealand — grew into one of Canada’s most recognized
specialty coffee brands, specializing in direct trade coffee sourcing and exceptional barista
service.
Over their 15+ years, Pilot Coffee Roasters has been driven by the same conviction: that great
coffee is the result of meaningful relationships, meticulous care and genuine curiosity. That
ethos carries through to their cafe experience, serving single-origin, primarily direct-trade
coffees, innovative signature drinks, and a modern minimalist environment where coffee lovers
can sip with intention.
