Jess started working at Kaffi Ole when it opened in 2021. She began as a barista, worked her way up to manager, and now runs the shop alongside Árni Ólafur Jónsson. Together, they have been leading Kaffi Ole since the end of 2025.
The Kaffi Ole community is what keeps them going. Even through the challenges of the pandemic, it was their loyal regulars who supported the café and helped it thrive. They are committed to excellent hospitality, high-quality coffee and cakes, and a strong passion for sustainability and ethical work practices. Their goal is to create a safe and supportive workplace where every employee can thrive, feel heard, and be valued.
Kaffi Ole serves coffee from Kaffibrugghúsið, a local roastery in Reykjavík. From cold brew and drip coffee to pour-overs and espresso, the selection is always evolving. Their espresso changes regularly, from a Colombian honey process to a natural Ethiopian. Kaffi Ole embraces the diversity of specialty coffee and loves showcasing everything coffee can be.
