M.A.S. Specialty Coffee & Brunch is an independent specialty coffee shop in Lisbon, Portugal. «M.A.S.» stands for More than a Sip — and in Portuguese, mas means but: a small word that carries the weight of a turning point. A pause. A surprise.
The beginning of something else. They believe coffee can be more than what’s in the cup. Every brew is an honest expression of its origin and a genuine reflection of the roaster’s craft and intention — including how they approach espresso: variable extraction pressure, drawing out the fullest expression of every bean. At M.A.S., beans from across the world — different origins, different processing methods, different stories — all have a chance to find their way into a guest’s cup.
They don’t chase a fixed style; they’d rather each visit bring visitors something they haven’t tasted before.
