Founded in 2019 as an ambitious project on wheels on the streets of Sucre, Coffee Bike has established itself as a benchmark for specialty coffee in Bolivia. Created by Fernando Arnez, the initiative evolved into a business featuring two locations, its own roastery, and a coffee lab equipped with precision technology for roast profiling.
The technical excellence of its team has been proven in high-level competition: Fernando won the departmental Brewing championship in 2023, while Álvaro Arnez was crowned national Cupping champion in 2026, representing Bolivia at the World Championship in Thailand.
The coffee shop’s success lies in its dynamic approach focused on quality and traceability, working exclusively with selected micro-lots that include award-winning varieties from the Presidential Cup. In addition to encouraging its staff to compete on international stages, Coffee Bike actively promotes coffee culture within the community by offering courses and practical workshops. In doing so, they not only serve a world-class product, but also empower enthusiasts to replicate professional extraction methods at home.
